Product Information
The Vango Rome Air Tent is one of our favourite tents for the 2021 season, it comes in two sizes (550XL & 650XL), so you can easily choose how many you need to accommodate. There isn’t another tent that gives you this amount of space and flexibility at an incredible value. The side storage area allows you to make the most of your living and awning area without tripping over suitcases and clutter, or why not use it as a toilet area so you haven’t got to walk miles in the middle of the night. Vango has found a way to make the Sentinel Dura fabric last even longer thanks to ColourLock, this new patented process means that the fabric is designed to last considerably longer.
The sheer amount of internal space is thanks to Vango’s Villa Construction which means the walls are more vertical giving you not only better interior height but also allows you to utilize every inch of the tent by putting furniture closer to the sides. A multifunctional front door gives you the flexibility to have it position open, shut or halfway meaning whatever the weather is doing you can make the most of your holiday. Why not buy some additional King Poles and turn that front door into a canopy for those drizzly days.
Due to the lightweight Dura Fabric, it means that the weight of the tent is only just over 30kg which is impressive when you think how big it is. As it uses Vango’s Airbeam technology it makes the tent amazingly quick to pitch (as seen from our own Attwoolls Pitching Videos), within 10 minutes the tent is up making it perfect for weekends or weeks away.
