Product Information
The Quest Falcon Condor Air Awning is a brand-new driveaway awning designed to be compact and lightweight while still giving the user plenty of space. The Condor has to be one of the most versatile small awnings on the market, as not only does it face the same direction as the van (to ensure you are looking at the view and not your neighbour), but there is also the ability to add an extension onto it. This means that you can benefit from having two awnings in one; If you are going away for a weekend, then you can just pitch the awning, but if you are on a longer week trip then simply zip on the extension to increase your sheltered space. As the awning has been designed with touring in mind, the Falcon uses a lightweight & extremely waterproof 150D material to ensure you can pitch it quickly. The fabric also has a UV coating to increase the lifespan and gives you a UPF protection rating of 50+.
As standard the Falcon has a front door which can zip up to seal yourself against the elements and can be zipped off all together so that you let the outside in. The same door can be moved to the front of the optional canopy which will double the space of your area under cover. Low level ventilation can be found over the side window, which will help to reduce condensation and keep the awning feeling fresh. Storm straps are located at the front and back of the main body to make sure the roof looks as good as it can be, while providing additional stability for those windier days away.
The tunnel section that allows you to shelter between the van and the awning has a door at either end of the tunnel, this enables you to access the awning without going through the main body of the awning. The whole tunnel section zip easily on and off the main part of the awning, so you can use this as a way to driveaway from the vehicle without having to buy a fixing kit. The awning is available in two attachment heights: a Low (180-210cm) and a High (240-270cm), so it will depend on which motorhome or camper van you own, as to the correct size for you.
Overall, we think the Quest Falcon Condor Air Awning picks up where other similar models finish, by having a bit more versatility while retaining the sought after compact design.
