The Outwell Springville Air is a new tent for the 2022 season, it sits in their Superior Air Collection and has every feature that Outwell have in their arsenal to make sure you have everything you need in a tent. The Springville comes in three different sizes, starting at a compact 4 berth which is perfect for small families or couples. The larger 5SA & 6SA models are better suited to families who wish to have a bit more living space while camping but like the design and features the tent has to offer. The Springville is made from a 150D fabric which also has ripstop running throughout to give the material the next level of robustness, this complimented with a 6,000mm HH makes it one of the better Polyester materials on the market.

The tent is easily to pitch thanks to Outwell’s Power Air System as the tent can be inflated and pitched within 12 minutes (as seen from our Attwoolls Pitching Video). The tent is a bit of a hybrid as the front canopy has a 19mm steel pole which simply zips into a sleeve on the front of the tent. Deeper than normal bedrooms (230cm) provide ample room for camp beds and high-rise airbeds where other tents fall short and this twinned up with the dark bedroom material should allow you to have a perfect night’s sleep. A large ventilation vent helps to increase airflow and can also be used a rear window when left open.

As the Springville is in Outwell’s top end range of tents it’s unsurprising that you find features such as their own HookTrack System to give you the option to have a hanging point for lights or storage pockets throughout the tent. Quick & Quiet Access doors are located on the bedroom compartment to give easy and silent access in and out of the master bedroom. Large tinted windows give great visibility out of the tent while retaining an element of privacy and curtains can be zipped up if a complete block from the outside world is required. The front door has a full mesh panel built in to allow airflow into the tent whilst keeping the bugs out and this is the same for the side doors. As there is a built on front canopy with a decent amount of coverage the front mesh panel can be left open even when the rain suddenly comes down.

It’s the fine details in the tent that really make it high end, whether it’s the floating guylines, the storm straps on the front and back or multiple ventilation points high and low around the tent. The Outwell Springville is certainly a high spec tent.
