Activities for Camping Kids
带您的孩子露营并让他们摆脱日常生活的疯狂常规,这很重要。整个家庭都会从大自然中呼吸新鲜空气。
If you want to take your children away but leave the modern time consuming computer devices at home, here are some entertaining activities that they’ll love.
Get wet. Many of us parents have the sweet nostalgia of taking a fishing net to a stream as a child. Catching minnows and other water wildlife are all part of growing up and learning about nature. If you want to take the children swimming, avoid the swimming pool and head to the sea. Some beaches even have tidal swimming pools that fill with sea water. Your kids will love it. Be attentive and cautious at all times.
Go biking. There are biking trails all over the country, with many accessible from camping sites. Take your time to explore and be adventurous as you travel through beautiful scenery. In some places, it’s possible to hire tandem bikes that cater for adults and children on the same bike. You might also want to take a picnic.
Go bird watching. Buy a book on native birds of the UK and gen up on what you can find during your woodland and forest treks. You can even make a game of it as you look for the feathered species on walks and bike rides.
Teach the children about maps and compasses. Navigation when out walking is an important skill and something that you can teach as you go. Show them how to spot significant features in their surroundings and compare that information to the map.
Have a campfire. An essential of every camping experience, a campfire is a great place to enjoy toasting marshmallows on the end of a stick. You may also want to play some word games and tell stories and jokes to entertain and captivate.
Camping is a lot of fun and presents opportunities to do some activities that you might not do at home. Make the best of it with this small selection of fun things to do with your family on a camping holiday.
